Home Energetics began as a coping mechanism, a survival tool. A feeling I had as a child, rearranging my bedroom not for looks, but for peace.

I grew up in a chaotic home, where my nervous system was constantly on high alert. My bedroom became my sanctuary, the one space I could control. I didn’t know it then, but I was practicing what would later become the foundation of Home Energetics: tuning into how a space makes you feel, and rearranging it to feel safe, supported, and more like yourself.

Years later I built a successful home staging and design business, Homeslice Living. I was in hundreds of homes across Northeast Ohio, spent three years designing new builds, and helped homeowners make confident decisions about color, layout, and space. I was good at it. Really good at it. But I was still chasing something deeper. I could make homes look beautiful, but something was missing.

I discovered feng shui and immediately felt like I had been handed the language to something I had been doing, unknowingly, my entire life. But instead of following the rules exactly, I let my intuition lead me. I began blending feng shui principles with nervous system regulation, energetics, and modern design. That’s when everything changed. I sold my staging inventory, pursued my certification, and created something entirely my own.

Home Energetics was born out of my own healing. It’s a practice rooted in ancient wisdom and made for modern life. It’s about learning how to listen to your space and letting it speak back to your body. Because your home is your mirror, and when your space is in survival mode, so are you. That work took me to DailyOM, to Everyday Health Group, and to people all over the country who needed exactly this.

And then something unexpected happened. I moved back home to Jackson Township and I came full circle.

The people I kept hearing from weren’t always looking for the depth of a full energetics practice. They wanted their home to look beautiful and feel better. They wanted someone who could walk in, see what they couldn’t see, and help them make decisions with confidence. That’s Homeslice Living. That’s where this all started. And I realized I never actually left it. I just went deeper.

So now I do both. Homeslice Living is the work you can see, the styling, the color, the layout, the transformation. Home Energetics is the philosophy underneath all of it, the reason every space I touch feels different from what you’d get anywhere else.

Your home is not just where you live. It’s where you come back to yourself, over and over again. Whether you need a room that finally works, a color direction that feels right, or something deeper you haven’t quite found the words for yet, I’m here for all of it.
